Registration Fee:

Registration is open during the meeting Thursday and Friday morning. Registration is $80 payable by cash or credit on site. There will also be a registration table in the lobby of Pike’s Waterfront Lodge from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday evening (4438 Airport Way). Stop by and say hello!

Deadlines:

Registration deadine is November 2, 2015.

Parking:

Parking at UAF costs $3/day. Parking can be purchased (cash/credit) at the blue & gold kiosks in most parking lots. There is a kiosk directly in front of the Akasofu Building.

Shuttle to Workshop:

A shuttle from Pike's Waterfront Lodge to the workshop will leave at 8:00am Thursday and Friday mornings. To catch the shuttle to UAF meet in the hotel lobby and a white shuttle bus with Airlink LLC on the side will pull up to the main door at 8:00am. Thursday a 5:15pm UAF to Pike's Waterfront Lodge return shuttle has been arranged and Friday a 3:45pm UAF to Pike's return shuttle has been arranged. If you need a shuttle ride please indicate on your registration or contact organizer, Michelle Harrison at mcharrison@alaska.edu.

Food:

Light breakfast as well as lunch are provided both Thursday and Friday.

Reception:

There is a reception style dinner on Thursday November 12 at Pike’s Landing. The room opens at 5:30pm with food beginning 6:00pm. Cash bar.

Workshop Hotel:

A block of rooms has been reserved for workshop participants at Pike's Waterfront Lodge, located in west Fairbanks along the Chena River. To book a room click this reservation link. Enter group code AK NBE/1111 at the bottom of the page where it asks "Do you have a group code?" (Note: You need to click on the question to reveal the box where the group code goes) to receive a discounted rate of $69.00 + tax per night. Rooms must be booked by 31 October for the discount. Pike's will shuttle from the airport if you call them at 907.456.4500. The hotel is just off the airport property.

Speakers:

If you are speaking, you are likely already in the loop with Stephen Holtkamp. We'll be projecting most presentations from a common computer. We should be able to accommodate whatever media you have. There will be time at the start of the day and during breaks to upload and double check content.
